The Plant Base program for Windows and Mac needs a licence registration code to continue working after the 20 day trial period. Registration is optional for the Linux edition.
Registration is free and the code will never expire. But we do strongly encourage a donation to help fund our running costs and enable further development. A donation can be made at any time and for any amount. The suggested contribution is £20 GBP (about €23 Euro or $27 USD) but all donations are appreciated, no matter how small.
Your license code has your user-name embedded as a key. The name displays on the program splash-screen and About window.
The user-name may be the same as your correspondence name or something else of your choosing. It must be between 6 and 20 characters long and can only contain the following:
Your email address will be used for any future validation, for example to re-send a lost code if needed. Your details will not under any circumstances be passed on to anyone else or used for unwanted purposes.

If your response email does not appear shortly, check in your Spam or Junk folders in case it has been incorrectly filtered.
Optional form fields do not affect the code generation in any way. The OS selection is purely for our interest, as registration codes are valid for all OS editions.
There is no connection between registration and the donation process through PayPal, it's entirely voluntary. The Plant Base application does not have any annoying reminder nags.
Plant Base is now free to register and run.
